Pairing new RF Transceiver Process

Pairing new RF Transceiver Process

The DX-Safe Home Series Hub has a range of optional low-power RF transceiver accessories. If you would like to place an order, please click here.

There are two stages to adding a new RF transceiver:

  1. Pairing the device to the base unit hub
  2. Registering with us what has been paired and where (i.e. pendant user's name or a smoke detector in the master bedroom)

Pairing Instructions

  1. Note down the device type and serial number; you will need these details later. If you need help finding serial numbers, please click here.
  2. Hold the Page/Registration button on the base until the base makes a dual-tone sound and the Red LED indicator light on the front starts flashing slowly.

  3. While the Red LED indicator light is still flashing, press the Page/Registration button on the base again, and the Blue LED indicator light on the front will begin flashing.
  4. Follow the appropriate steps below for your type of device. The base station will then notify you if the pairing has been successful.
    1. Standard Lanyard or Wrist Pendant - press one time on the button
    2. Fall Detector Lanyard Pendant - press one time on the button
    3. Pull Cord / Wall Button - press one time on the button
    4. Smoke Detector - press one time on the smoke button
  5. Once the new device has been successfully paired to the base unit hub, click here within 24 hours to register the details.
While pairing, standing no more than 10 meters from the base unit hub is suggested.
